What we collect

When you call us or submit the contact form, we collect the information you give us: name, phone number, email, the city or address where the work is needed, and a description of the problem. We use that information to get back to you and to connect you with a plumber.

Calls to our number are recorded

Calls to (858) 400-4417 are recorded. A recording notice plays at the start of the call, before anything else happens. California is an all-party consent state, so staying on the line after that notice is your consent to be recorded.

Depending on how the line is routed at the time you call, your call is either connected to a plumber, in which case the conversation between you and that plumber is recorded, or you are asked to leave a message, in which case the message is recorded and transcribed so we can return your call. If you would rather not be recorded, hang up and use the contact form or email us instead.

How we use it, and who we share it with

Plumbing Pro San Diego is a referral service, so the main thing we do with your information is share it with the licensed local plumber we connect you with, so that plumber can contact you, look at the job, and quote the work. We also use it to respond to you directly and to follow up on your request. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires it.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 and Ahrefs Analytics to understand which pages are useful to visitors. These tools load on every page and set or read cookies in your browser to tell repeat visits apart and measure how the site is used. We do not use this data to identify you personally and we do not sell it.

We also set a lang_pref cookie when you switch between English and Spanish, so the site remembers which version you prefer. You can block or delete any of these cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser opt-out add-on.

When you tap a phone number on this site, your browser sends us a short anonymous note that records only the page path and the number tapped. It carries no cookie, no IP address, no browser details, and no referring page. It counts an action, not a person.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. You also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.
